2018 Darrell Awards Finalists Announced

The 2018 Darrell Awards Jury held its final meeting tonight and we are pleased to announce the following Finalists.

In addition to these Finalists, the Jury also announced that Robin Burks is our 2018 inductee to the Coger Hall of Fame for her three novel series (Zeus, Inc.; The Curse of Hekate; and Return of the Titans).

    • Thank you. I’ve corrected the spelling on John’s name.

      The Darrell Awards are about recognizing the stories and the authors. For various reasons, we’ve never said much about the publishers. Why that has been so is a minefield I really do not want to walk through. We decided a long time ago to focus on authors and stories, and that decision has been re-affirmed every time the issue has been raised.

      Having said that, thank you for publishing Luminaria by John Hornor Jacobs in Apex magazine.
