Jury is Meeting – Nominations are Pouring In

The 2014 Darrell Awards Jury is now meeting regularly to discuss & review the nominated works. Nominations have been pouring in lately, so we will have a good selection from which to pick the winners and finalists.

Even so, over two-thirds of the eligible works of which we are aware have not yet been nominated. We will not even consider your novel, novella, short story or Young Adult work unless it is nominated.

The Nomination Form is on our website at http://darrellawards.org. The work has to be published by the end of October to be considered this time and it has to be nominated no later than 1-1-14.

Please help us recognize the BEST published Midsouth SF/F/H by nominating any and all eligible works. Anyone can nominate.

About Darrell Awards

The Darrell Awards are presented annually in support of Midsouth Literacy by recognizing the best published Science Fiction, Fantasy and/or Horror in Short Story, Novella, Novel, Young Adult and Other Media formats. Our related Dal Coger Memorial Hall of Fame Award is given for an author who has made exceptional contributions to Midsouth Literacy by having published a substantial body of work that is or would have been eligible for the Darrell Award. The Darrell Awards and the Coger Hall of Fame award are presented at MidSouthCon, held in March of each year in the Memphis, Tennessee area.
